When I first started this blog, one of my main goals was to show people that buying more ethical products didn’t have to equate to you dropping boo koo bucks/pulling your hair out searching for said ethical products.
That is why today I’m writing about all of the great non-toxic, clean, eco-friendly (insert other buzz words here) beauty brands that you can find at Target.
And while a trip to Tarjay may actually result in you spending is it so hard to get out of that place without spending $200 anyway?), these beauty brands definitely won’t break the bank.
Acure is a family owned and operated company founded on sustainable principles and accessible price points. One of the company’s goals is to steer people away from toxic chemicals, and to prove that you don’t have to sacrifice your health for beautiful skin and hair. Each of their products are free from gluten, parabens, sulfates, phthalates, harmful preservatives, artificial colors and they never test on animals. The company uses plant and food based natural and organic ingredients, and pure essential oils that are also clinically proven to provide optimal performance and efficacy. They also apply their green practices into every other decisions regarding the company, like their packaging, which is made from recycled materials and is biodegradable.
Fig + Yarrow is an artisan line of small-batch, handcrafted organic health and beauty products born of a love affair with botanicals and various earth elements. All the materials the company uses — from the minerals and oils, to the roots, leaves and flowers, to the glass containers used for packaging — are selected for their beauty, health and purity.
